Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University Class Begins March 1

Locals Kenny and Lois Hunziker are facilitating a Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class at the Jim Sears Technical Center in Edina beginning Thursday evening, March 1, 2012. The classes will be every Thursday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 13 weeks ending on May 24.

Dave Ramsey is a well-known personal money management expert.

“He has a syndicated radio show and has written a whole bunch of books and has been on TV,” said Lois Hunziker. “We’ve led this class more than once. He makes it fun and interesting. It’s not dry and boring. He’s an excellent teacher. He makes complex matters easy to understand”

According to Hunziker ,Ramsey’s class covers things like budgeting, investing, choosing insurance, buying a house, mortgages, bankruptcy, saving and getting out of debt.

“When we led it before it was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done. It was amazing to see people get into it and change their lives.” Said Hunziker. “A lot of people are doing very well financially who have taken the class.”
