Seven Charged In Swine Theft At Local Hog Confinement
On March 15, 2010, after receiving a tip from the Director of Productions, with Pike Pig Systems, based out of Pittsfield, Illinois, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, The Missouri State Highway Patrol, which included the Rural Crime Investigative Unit, conducted an investigation of stolen pigs from the Bluff Road Genetics confinement just north of Peaksville, Missouri. During the investigation officers discovered several pigs had been stolen and due to the breach in bio-security plans, the company anticipated a loss of approximately $16,000. The following suspects have been arrested and are being held at the Clark County Detention Center in Kahoka, Missouri.
Seth E Shotts, age 49 of Revere, MO is being held for receiving stolen property of $500 or more and causing loss to or theft from animal facility $10,000 to $100,000. Both are Felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
Terri Annette Jones, age 44 of Revere, MO is being held for Theft/stealing of any livestock animal and causing loss to or theft from animal facility of $10,000 to $100,000. Both are Felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
Robert B Daugherty, age 31 of Farmington, IA is being held for Theft/stealing of any livestock animal and causing loss to or theft from an animal facility of $10,00 to $100,000. Both are Felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
Mara E Daugherty, age 37 of Farmington, IA is being held for Theft/stealing of any livestock animal and causing loss to or theft from an animal facility of $10,000 to $100,000. Both are felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
Jerred A McClain, age 25 of Revere, Mo is being held for receiving stolen property of $500 or more and causing loss to and theft from an animal facility $10,000 to $100,000. Both are Felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
Matthew White age 36 of Revere, MO is being held for Theft/Stealing of any livestock animal and causing loss to or theft from an animal facility of $10,000 to $100,000. Both are felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
David Dillard age 55 of Revere, MO is being held for receiving stolen property of $500 or more and causing loss to and theft from an animal facility $10,000 to $100,000. Both are felony counts and bond is set at $25,000 cash only.
