Marjorie Mae Baldwin, 89, or Kirksville, Missouri, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri.

   The daughter of Robert and Clara (Carder) Culpen, Marjorie was born November 6, 1917 in LaBelle, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Harry S. Baldwin of Edina, Missouri, on March 5, 1938.

   Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Harry on February 12, 1988, her parents and one brother, Leroy Culpen.

   She is survived by one son, Steven Baldwin of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and sons~in-law, Pat and Dale Bailey of Macon, Missouri and Barbara and Jim Rigby of Webster Groves, MO; three grandchildren, Dana Bagley of Springfield, MO, Tim Rigby of Springfield, IL and Tara Rigby or Fort Collins, CO as well as three great-grandchildren, .Jay, Jessica and Anna Rigby all of Springfield, IL.

   Marjorie was a graduate of LaBelle High School with the Class of 1935. After her marriage, she and her husband lived most of their life in Kirksville, Missouri, where they raised their family. After her children were grown, Marjorie worked as an Avon sales representative and at the Extra Size Dress Shop in Kirksville.

   She enjoyed reading, cooking, bingo, watching her flowers in her garden beds grow and spending time with friends. Marjorie was very devoted to her family and loved their family times together, especially on the holidays.

   She was a member of the Kirksville Christian Church, Life after Fifty Club, Friends Sunday School, Senior Fellowship and Pace Class.

   Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Pastor John Dungan and Janice Legg officiated. Dwight Buckingham accompanied by Nancy Pennington, organist provided the music. Interment was at the Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.
