Golf Tournament in Knox County to Benefit Relay For Life
(Edina)-Knox County’s serious golfers as well as the weekend duffers are teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Golf Championship. This great event offers golfers an opportunity to "chip" in the fight against cancer.
Teams of enthusiastic golfers will tee off at the Edina Country Club on July 15, 2007. 4 Man Scramble will tee off at 8:00 a.m., and the 4 Lady Scramble will tee off at 1:00 p.m.. Lunch provided 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The American Cancer Society Golf Tournament is open to men and women, both the experienced golfer and the beginner alike.
"The funds raised will enable us to continue our investment in the fight against cancer through educational programs, research and services to patients," said Brenda Carlin, American Cancer Society staff person.
