Aliice In Wonderland To BePresented August 10-11
CANTON, MO
announce the cast of their summer youth theatre production, "Alice in
Wonderland," which will be performed for the public at 7 p.m. Friday,
August 10 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11.
The role of Alice is played by Abbie Jarvis, Canton; and Alice’s
sister, Sarah, is played by Sarah Polett, Canton. The White Rabbit is
played by Zach Karl, Canton. Matthew Polett, Canton, will play the
Caterpillar, and Austin Karl, Canton, will play the Dodo Bird. The tea
party is hosted by the Mad Hatter, as played by Zach Jarvis, Canton; and
his guests include the March Hare, played by Skylar Nuse, Cheyenne,
Wyo., and the Dormouse, performed by Rachel Uhlmeyer, Canton. Rounding
out the cast is Laura Polett, Canton, as the Queen of Hearts.
Admission is free to the performances in the Mabee Little Theatre on
the campus of Culver-Stockton College. The production is under the
direction of Culver-Stockton College Theatre faculty member Jeffrey
Kellogg. Assistants to the director are Anna Gottfried, Cleveland,
Ohio; Adrian Groff, a Culver-Stockton senior majoring in music
education; and parents of the cast.
The script was adapted by Willard Sims from the classic tale by Lewis
Carroll and includes audience participation opportunities. "Alice in
Wonderland" is produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama
Service of Englewood, Colo.
