   Audrey B. Cottrell, of the Good Samaritan Home and formerly of Fowler, died Tuesday morning, September 4, 2007, at 2:40 a.m. in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital, at 84 years of age.

   She was born July 25, 1923 in Southampton, England, the daughter of Edwin John and Edith Caroline Stacey Chillingford.

   Audrey Chillingford united in marriage with Thomas Edward Cottrell on February 20, 1945, in Southampton, England. He survives.

   She was employed as a Unit Secretary with St. Mary Hospital for 25 years.

   Audrey was a member of St. John Anglican Church.

   Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (Stephen)  Nelson, San Diego, California; Cheryl (Michael) Ift, Quincy; Anne (Ronald) Scott, Payson, Illinois; six grandchildren, Bradley Schulze, Quincy; Stephanie (Aron) Sedelmeier and her husband, Ewing, MO; Marc Nelson and his wife Penny, Coal Valley, IL; Christopher Nelson and his wife Kerrie, Chillicothe, IL; and Andrew and Adam Scott, Payson, Illinois; and seven great grandchildren.

   Her parents, a sister Evelyn, a half brother Ronald Chillingford, and two half sisters, Elsie Rule and Henrietta Parsons all preceded in death by.

   Reverend Stephen Strawn officiated for services Saturday morning in St. John Anglican Church with the officiating with burial in Greenmount Cemetery.
