The Lady Cougars dropped a Clarence Cannon Conference game on the road at Mark Twain 2-0 to drop their record to 8-3 overall and 0-2 in the Clarence Cannon Conference.  The Lady Cougars could only muster one hit against the Mark Twain Lady Tigers and that came from Ashley Runquist in the fifth inning. “We hit some balls hard this game but they were right at people and they were able to make the plays,” Coach Scifres said.

The Lady Tigers scored two unearned runs in the third inning thanks to a two out error, that was followed by a triple and the a single to put the Lady Tigers up 2-0.  Samantha Murfin took the tough loss dropping her record to 4-2 on the season.  She gave up 2 unearned runs on four hits, while striking out three, and not allowing a walk.
