Brashear Shares Tri County Baseball Title. Ten Tigers All-Conference

Ten Brashear student-athletes were named to the 2007 All Tri-County Conference baseball and softball teams. Brashear (7-1) shared the conference baseball championship with Atlanta and LaPlata. The Lady Tigers finished with a 6-2 conference record and tied with Linn County for third in the softball standings. Bevier and LaPlata shared the Tri-County softball crown with 7-1 conference marks.
Atlanta senior Javaun West was the Tri-County Conference baseball MVP. Hornet coach Jason Daniel was the 2007 conference baseball coach of the year. Bevier sophomore Katelyn Tolle was the conference softball MVP. Bevier mentor Jim Ehly was the conference softball coach of the year.
Brashear senior pitcher Christina Scudder was named to the softball first team along with freshman catcher Abby McKim. Scudder struck out 178 batters this season and was a four time all conference softball selection. Abby McKim was one of the leading run producers in the area.
Senior second baseman Hailee Kelsey repeated as an all conference selection, making the softball second team. Scudder, McKim and Kelsey were previously named to the Class 1 all District 9 softball team. Senior Jessi Hill was tabbed as an honorable mention conference selection.
Senior Jacob Shipman and sophomore Matt Thomas were named to the 2007 all conference baseball First Team. Juniors Kiley Watson and Koty Hayden represented the Tigers on the Tri-County conference baseball second team.
