Clark County JV Tops Hamilton

On Friday evening December 7 the Clark County JV hosted the Hamilton Cardinals. In the opening quarter, Justin Oilar led the Indians with six points as Clark County outscored Hamilton 11-8.
In the second quarter nothing much happened as both teams struggled. The Indians took the quarter 4-3, and led 15-11 at halftime behind Justin Oilar’s eight points.
The third quarter saw the Cardinals play the Indians tough, Justin Alderton had four points, Ryan Whiston had three, while playing with foul trouble. Both teams put nine on the board, and the Indians led after three quarters 24-20.
In the fourth quarter the Cardinals had to foul and put the Indians on the line, and they responded with 9 of 14 free throws. Whiston returned at the five minute mark, and led the charge with 7 points, and the Indians came away with the victory 39-32.
The Indians were lead by Ryan Whiston with 12 points, followed by Justin Oilar with 10, Dakota Armstrong and Jacob McAfee had six each and Justin Alderton added five.
