On Monday evening December 3, the Clark County Lady JV took on a very good QND Lady Raiders JV at Quincy. The opening quarter saw QND outscore Clark County 12-6. Kayla Buschling had four points, Ashley Gail added a basket.
The second quarter saw the Lady Indians play within that six points again, as the Lady Raiders took the quarter, 20-12, and QND led at halftime, 32-20. Clark was led at halftime by Kayla Buschling with six points.
The third quarter was Clark County’s best quarter, as point spread goes, as QND took the third 7-6 behind Katie Flood’s three free throws.
In the final quarter saw QND open up its biggest margin, as they put seven girls in the scoring column, and put out an 18 point quarter, while holding the Lady Indians to 10, and took the victory at the Pit 57-35.
Clark was led in scoring by Kayla Buschling with 12 points, followed by Cady Flood and Chelsea Edmondson with five each. Morgan Bertelli and Caitlyn Davis had four each, while Ashley Gail, Rachel Daw and Briana Alderton had two each.
