Kirksville Candidates Forum Scheduled

KIRKSVILLE – The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Kirksville Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer to the voting citizens of the community, an opportunity to meet candidates running for the Kirksville City Council and the Kirksville R III School Board.

These candidates have been invited to participate in a public forum at the El Kadir Shrine Club on March 25th. Candidates will be available for open discussion with the public at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., the formal forum will begin and will be moderated by media representatives. School Board candidates will have two minutes each to introduce themselves and at 7:15 p.m. the City Council candidates will answer questions from the media moderators.

Other local issues that will appear on the April ballot will have representatives available to answer questions, as well.

This event is free of charge and open to the public.
