NORMA JEAN KELLY

Norma Jean Kelly, 67, was born on March 6, 1941 in Edina, Missouri to James and Doris Binkley Hayes. After fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer, Norma died peacefully on May 14, 2008 at her home with her family by her side.
Norma is survived by her husband, Mike Kelly of Ft. Madison; her mother, Doris Hayes of Ft. Madison; one son, Landon Rampy and his fiancée, Teresa Gray of Ft. Madison; two stepsons, Shawn Kelly and his wife Kelly of Ft. Madison and Christopher Kelly of Burlington; three daughters, Lisa Kibby (Rampy) and her husband, Bryan of Ft. Madison, Lori Hernandez (Rampy) and her husband, Pep Hernandez of Ft. Madison, Linda Martinez (Rampy) and her husband Dave Martinez of Ft. Madison and one stepdaughter, Lori Rudy (Kelly) and her husband Thomas of Burlington; one brother, Jimmie Hayes and his wife Sandy of Ft. Madison. She was a grandmother to nineteen and a great-grandmother to six.
She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Larry Rampy and one grandson, Nicholas Riley.
Norma was widely recognized for cake and candy designs and decorations as co-owner of Cakes and Candies Galore. She was a retired bar manager of the Eagles Club. Norma loved reading and creating puzzles but cherished most of her days with her husband and children.
Services were held Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the King-Lynk Funeral Home, officiated by Reverend Roger Welty. A memorial has been established in her memory.
