The NEMOsports.net high school all-star basketball game is scheduled for Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the Moberly Area Community College Activity Center. The East vs. West girls’ game starts at 5:30PM with the boys contest to follow at 7:15PM.
There will be a three point shooting, jump shooting and slam dunk contest beginning at 4:30PM. McDonalds/Quincy Herald-Whig Classic Missouri boys’ MVP Colt Summers will represent Clark County on the East Boys team.
Daniel McMahon will represent Knox County on the East team. Nathan Meyers and Dakota Bainter of Marion County, Randall Mosley and Chase Dittmer of Hannibal, Bronson Shaver of Monroe City, Kelcey Moore of South Shelby and Kaharri Ray of Fulton round out Marion County coach Ryan Woods’ East team
Jesse Schrader of LaPlata teams up with guard Taylor Perrigo and center Cory Sublett defending state champion Harrisburg on the West team. Steve Combs is the West boys’ coach.
Danielle Caldwell and Emily Lay of Canton along with Erin Mayes of South Shelby, Sam Yates of Clopton, Tahnee Poe of Schuyler County and Miranda Chapin of South Shelby are scheduled to appear on Canton coach Seth Minter’s East girls’ team.
Justin Bane of LaPlata and Chloe Phillips of Green City join Darlene King and Brandie Roberts of Cairo, and Kayla Rice of Westran on the West girls. Gary Dresback of Westran is the West girls’ coach.
