Lewis County REC to Sponsor Second Light Bulb Blitz
Lewis County REC to Sponsor Second Light Bulb Blitz
A cooperative effort for energy efficiency, take control and save while helping others is being sponsored the Lewis County Rural Electric Cooperative.
You may not be able to control energy prices, but you can control the amount of energy you use. One easy way to cut the cost of lighting is by switching out your incandescent light bulbs with new high efficiency compact fluorescent lighting.
In an effort to help Lewis County REC members cut that cost, they will sponsor a second light bulb blitz from September 15-26, at the office in Lewistown.
For every non perishable food item you bring in, Lewis County REC will give you a new high efficiency compact fluorescent bulb in exchange for it FREE of CHARGE.
For example, bring in 20 food items and get 20 light bulbs. No limit on items exchanged.
All the food will be divided between the area food pantries, in an effort to help them stock up before the holiday season.
This offer is only open to members of Lewis County REC, and you will have to present your account number to take advantage of this exchange.
