Anne L. Kurtz, of Overland Park, KS, formerly of Baring, MO and Ft. Madison, IA, died on Sunday, September 14, 2008, on her 100th birthday at Villa St. Joseph Nursing Home in Overland Park.
She was born on September 14, 1908 in Baring, MO to Thomas and Bridget Sheridan Delaney. She married Karl A. Kurtz in August 1928 in Baring, MO. Anne was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include: four sons, Richard Kurtz of Overland Park, KS, Ronald (Joan) Kurtz of Ft. Madison, IA, Donald Kurtz of Glendale, AZ, and Kenneth (Doris) Kurtz of New Britain, CT; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and twelve brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ft. Madison, IA on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Ft. Madison, IA.
