Bryan Plenge got the Indians fired up early, nailing two three-pointers early in Friday’s road game at Brookfield. The Clark County Indians put up 17 first-quarter points against a tall Bulldog team, taking the first quarter 17-14. Bryan Plenge led the quarter with eight points, Michael Brennan had four, Justin Alderton hit three-pointer, and Javis Vineyard had two points.

The Bulldogs slowed the Indian charge down in the second, but couldn’t keep Bryan Plenge from nail another pair of threes. Ethan Allen added a three of his own, and Michael Brennan and Ryan Whiston each had a bucket. At the end of two periods, Clark County held a narrow 30-29 lead.

Michael Brennan found the groove in the third period, hammering in 13 of the Indians’ 19 points. Justin Alderton hit his second three of the night, and Ethan Allen hit a bucket. Ethan Horton got his only points of the night with a free-throw, and the Indians opened a 49-42 lead.

Clark County didn’t look back in the final eight minutes, and Michael Brennan scored eight more points. Dakota Armstrong hit a pair of three-pointers for six points, and Bryan Plenge added five. Javis Vineyard and Justin Oilar added two each as the Indians went on to a 72-51 victory.

Michael Brennan led the Indians offense with 27 points. Bryan Plenge had a great game as well, scoring 19. Justin Alderton and Dakota Armstrong had six each, and Ethan Allen had five. Javis Vineyard had four points, Justin Oilar and Ryan Whiston each had two, and Ethan Allen had one point in the contest.
