LINDA S. GLASGOW

Linda Susan Glasgow, age 60, of Republic, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield. She was born in Edina on July 9, 1948, daughter of John Junior and Dixie Lee (Guinn) Rekus, both deceased. On April 4, 1970, in Colony, MO, she was married to William D. “Bill” Glasgow, who survives at the home.
She worked for the Republic School District as a first grade teacher for 21 years until her retirement in August 2008. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandsons.
Other survivors include one son, Brian Glasgow and wife Lesley of Willard; one daughter, Cheryl Lock and husband Tyrel of Camdenton; three grandsons, Cody Glasgow of Willard and Skyler Lock and Seth Lock both of Camdenton; and one brother, Roger Rekus and wife Sydney of Iberia.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 2, at the First Baptist Church of Republic. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Max Stark officiating.
Additional visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, at Harmony Grove Baptist Church near Colony. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery.
