Clark County’s Lady Indians didn’t waste any time showing Milan who was the boss. At Friday night’s contest, the Lady Indians raced out to a 9-0 lead early, and scored 27 first quarter points to put the Milan Lady Wildcats into a hole they couldn’t climb out of.

Six Lady Indians found the scoring column in the first period, with Rachel Daw having the hot had early, leading the effort with eight points. Britni Bertelli had five, and Megan Brennan, Brooke Wheeler and Cady Flood each had four. Leighanne Moulder added two, and Clark County led 27-7 after one.

The Lady Indians kept the pressure on in the second period as Brooke Wheeler scored eight. Britni Bertelli added another three-pointer, and Rachel Daw, Leighanne Moulder and Briana Alderton each added two. At the half, the Lady Indians led by 21, 44-23.

Clark County’s defense held Milan to only four points in the third period, while their scoring continued to dominate. Brooke Wheeler poured in eight more points, and Leighanne Moulder added six more. Cady Flood had four, and Megan Brennan and Kayla Buschling each had two points. After three quarters, Clark County led 66-27.
In the final quarter, Kayla Buschling had six, Chelsea Edmondson finally got on the board with four, and Rachel Daw added a free throw, as Clark County downed Milan 77-37.

Nine Lady Indians scored in the contest, led by Brooke Wheeler with 20. Rachel Daw had an excellent night with 11, and Leighanne Moulder looked solid with a 10-point performance. Britni Bertelli, Cady Flood and Kayla Buschling each contributed eight points, Megan Brennan had six, Chelsea Edmondson had four and Briana Alderton had two on the night.
