HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, the week of March 23, MoDOT crews will be patching the bridge decks on the Honey Creek and Buck Run Creek Bridges on southbound Route 61 in Clark County south of Wayland. Crews will be working from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Honey Creek Bridge on March 23 through 25, and at Buck Run Creek Bridge on March 26 and 27. Traffic will be reduced to one lane while crews are working. Delays should be expected, please allow ample time to your destination and obey all road construction signs. Motorists are urged to use caution and obey all road construction signs and MoDOT personnel. The road will be opened to traffic at the end of the workday. The work on these bridges is in preparation for a resurfacing contract scheduled this summer from Iowa line to south of Route 136 spur at Lewis County line.
