| HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway construction and
maintenance scheduled for March 30 through April 10 for all counties in MoDOT’s
northeast district. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work
schedule. Other work may occur on other roads throughout the area. This work
will include lane closures and at times delays can be expected. Crews will be working during daylight work hours unless otherwise indicated.
Various forms of traffic control will be in place to secure the safety of the
motoring public as well as the safety of highway crews. All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map on the day it begins.
Those traveling and commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at
www.modot.org daily for new work zones. MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent
directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled. Sign up online or call
MoDOT’s customer service center at 1-888-275-6636. Audrain County
Construction:
Route 22 – April 1 Work
begins to rehabilitate Davis Fork bridge, pavement repair and resurfacing from
west of Route E to west of Route 15 near Mexico, one lane at the work zone with
flaggers controlling traffic during resurfacing; temporary traffic signals will
control traffic at the Davis Fork bridge.
Route K – April 6 Road closed east
of Gazette to rehabilitate Sandy Creek bridge; road closed please take alternate
routes.
Route 54 – Mar. 30 – Apr. 30 Slabjacking; traffic will be reduced to
one lane at the work zone with temporary traffic signals controlling traffic
during the workday. Delays should be expected, please use alternate routes
during this time. Road will be open to two lanes at the end of each
workday.
Maintenance:
Routes 54, 19 – Mar. 30-Apr. 3
replacing destination boards, no closures.

concrete patching South of Wayland approx. 6-8 miles, driving lane southbound
will be one lane.
Route 61 southbound – Mar. 27- Apr. 3 Patching bridge deck
at Honey Creek, one lane traffic with flaggers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., delays
should be expected.
Route 61 southbound – Mar. 27- Apr. 3 Patching bridge
deck at Buck Run Creek, one lane traffic with flaggers from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
delays should be expected.
Route M – Mar. 30 – 31 washing bridges, one lane
closure with flagger.
Route 81 – Mar. 30 cleaning box culvert 2 miles south
of Antioch, northbound will be one lane with flagger.
Route F – Mar. 31 –
Apr. 6 ditching; one lane with flagger.
Routes 27/136 junction on & off
ramps – Apr. 2 picking up trash on right of way, no closure.

beginning Apr. 6, scheduled to begin removal of existing bridge deck and
guardrail.

Mar. 25 Traffic could be reduced to one lane during non-peak traffic hours.
During rock removal both lanes of traffic will be intermittently and temporarily
closed throughout the week, delays are expected to be less than 15 minutes each
time, but as a precaution they are necessary due to the nature of the work near
the road.
Route DD – May 11 Road will be closed at Bear Creek, detour signed
over Routes E, O, D, and A.
Route M – Mar. 25 – May 31 Road closed at Lost
Creek Diversion, south of Elsberry – starting demolition and placing rock
blanket at end bents; bridge officially
closed.

– 9 Replace concrete pavement on the westbound lanes under the railroad overpass
just east of Route F near High Hill; one lane at the work zone with a 10 ft.
width restriction while crews are working. Working on April 5 at 5 a.m. with one
lane 24 hours a day through April 9 at 6 a.m.
Route F – Apr. 27 Rehabilitate
Bear Creek Bridge; road will be closed at the bridge; detour signed over Routes
JJ, E, V, F beginning April 27.
Route AC – May 26 Rehabilitate Cuivre River
Bridge; road will be closed at the bridge; detours will be signed over Routes
AC, K, W, BB, 161 beginning May 26.

pavement on westbound lanes from just west of Route 47 to the Montgomery county
line; work scheduled to begin July 23, 2009 with traffic reduced to one
lane.
Maintenance:
Interstate 70 – Mar. 30 surface
repairs in eastbound driving lane at 190.6 mile marker from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.;
one lane traffic-lanes will remain closed while the concrete is curing.
