JAMES ALLEN MINOR

James Allen Minor (Jimmy Allen) was born in Vienna, IL, January 21, 1940 and died in St. Joseph, MO, March 16, 2009 at the age of 69 years.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James Anderson and Lenora Mae Minor.
He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Anne Arndt of Omaha, NE; three sons, Timothy Allen of Oskaloosa, KS, James Randall of Brooklyn, NY and Aaron Anderson of Louisburg, KS; nine grandchildren, Jared and Allison Arndt of Omaha, NE, Hayden, Dalton and Peyton Minor of Oskaloosa, KS, Zachary, Bret, Sarah and Rachel Minor of Louisburg, KS; two brothers, Duane Minor of Rockaway Beach, MO and Dan Minor of Hannibal, MO; one aunt, Maurine Barnhouse of Marceline, MO.
He attended grade school in Plevna, MO and graduated from Edina High School, attended college at the University of Missouri, Moberly Junior College and Kansas City Junior College.
He lived his adult years in Kansas City, MO, Winchester, Nortonville and Atchison, KS areas.
Along with his parents and brothers he was a member of and attended Mt. Salem Church.
Pastor Allen Davidson conducted graveside services May 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. May he rest in peace in the Mt. Salem Cemetery next to his grandparents, Beverly Louis and Pauline Elizabeth Minor.
