Nixon Claims TRC Golf Crown; Nixon and Campbell Advance to
State

Clark County’s Zach Nixon shot a 7 over par 75 to become the
first individual conference tournament champion in school history.  The match was played at the Timber Ridge
Golf Course in Memphis, MO.

Nixon’s score tied his low of the year.

Teammate Michael Campbell joined Nixon on the 1st team all
conference by finishing in 3rd place with an 81.

Both Nixon and Campbell qualified for state at the district
meet, held in Hannibal.  Clark County
senior Michael Campbell finished tied for third with an 86.  Teammate junior Zach Nixon shot a 91 and
finished tied for 11th. 

Both golfers earn all-district honors and qualify for the
state golf tournament May 18 and 19 at the Sedalia Country Club in Sedalia,
Missouri.
