| HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, MoDOT will be resurfacing Route D from Route 6
at LaBelle south to Route 156, approximately 8.5 miles. Traffic will be reduced
to one lane between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., beginning Monday, July
27. The project should be complete in four working days, weather
permitting. Construction equipment and trucks hauling material will be entering and
exiting the work zone, please use extra caution while traveling through these
areas. Delays should be expected, please allow ample driving
time to your destination. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes
due to fresh oil and loose gravel while crews are working. All roadwork is posted on the traveler information map a week in advance or
on the day it begins. Those traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to
check the online map at www.modot.org daily for new work zones. Drivers are also
invited to rate MoDOT work zones online at modot.org. MoDOT also offers e-update
messages sent directly to your email when roadwork is scheduled. Sign up online
