Edmondson to Compete in Down Under Games

Chelsea Edmondson has been selected to represent the community and school by competing in the Down Under Games in Australia this summer.
Chelsea is a junior at Clark County High School. She is an A honor roll student that takes part in softball, basketball, track, band, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and also serves on the prom committee, in addition to being a member of the National Honor Society.
“It is a great honor to be chosen to represent this community in these games”, stated Edmondson. “They are like a mini Olympics for high school students.” Students from all over the United States and from other countries will be there to compete. The group will spend seven days in Australia, and then three days in Hawaii. Chelsea will compete in shot put and discus. She is looking forward to seeing a new country and a new culture. She asks that you keep your eyes out for her many fundraisers, and lend your support when you can.
