STANLEY H. HUDNUT

Stanley Hubert Hudnut, age 58, of Bucklin, Missouri, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at his home.
He was born August 6, 1951, at Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Calvin Hubert and Iola Gynell Bishoff Hudnut.
On June 27, 1970, he was united in marriage to Katherine Sue Hayden, and she preceded him in death on May 15, 2009.
He was also preceded in death by his father, a brother-in-law Mickey Davis and a father-in-law Robert Wilson Hayden.
Surviving is a special friend Lisa Ferguson of Keytesville, Missouri, his mother Iola Gynell Hudnut of Lewistown, Missouri, two children, Jason Hubert Hudnut of Bucklin, Missouri, Kara Sue Shelley and husband Tony of Raytown, Missouri, three sisters, Linda Barton and husband Gary (Catfish) of LaBelle, Missouri, Kathy Boone and husband Jim of Lewistown, Missouri, Denise Davis of Revere, Missouri, two brothers, Steve Hudnut and wife Mickie of Ewing, Missouri, Paul Hudnut and wife Debbie of Lewistown, Missouri, four grandchildren, BreeAnna, Ashtyn, Logrum, and Emma, a mother-in-law Mary Jane Lott of LaBelle, Missouri, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon Whiteaker, Georgeanne Hayes, Mike, Frank, Gary, Jerry Hayden and Johnnie Lott.
Stanley was employed for seventeen years with Burlington Northern Railroad from 1971 till 1987. He was also employed with Cherokee Trucking of Columbia, Missouri from 2001 till his retirement in October 2009, due to illness.
Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing the drums, spending time with his family and the time spent going out with his circle of friends.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Coder Funeral Home in LaBelle, Missouri. The Reverend Elmer Hagood officiated the services. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery northwest of Williamstown, Missouri. Casket bearers were his nephews, J.W. West, Chad Hayden, Stevie Hudnut, Tim Davis, Dusty Davis, and Adam Davis. Honorary bearers were Gary Barton, Jim Boone, Levi Hudnut, Dallas Hudnut, Bob Techau and Don (Cowboy) Eastin.
Visitation was Friday, February 26, 2010, after 4 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri.
