Indians Compete In State Golf Tourney

Two Clark County Indian golfers competed in the 2010 MSHSAA Class 2 Boys Golf State Championship held May 17-18, at the Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar.
Zach Nixon shot 89-89 for a two day total of 178. He finished in a tied for 67th place.
Dakota Armstrong shot 93-87 for a two day total of 180.. He finished tied for 69th place.
Samuel Deitte of Lutheran (St. Peters) High School shot 71-77 for a two day total of 148 to finished first place. Tanner McKinney finished one stroke back shooting 78-71 for a two day total of 149. Centralia’s Dakyn Dollens shot 76-74 for a two day total of 150 to finished tied for 3rd.
Whitfield won the team title shooting 635 and outdistancing runner-up Lutheran (St. Peters) by 25 shots.
