ERMA L. MCDANNOLD

Erma Lily Hinkson McDannold, 91, died May 18, 2010; Erma was born June 25, 1918 in rural Knox City, Missouri, the third daughter of Ermine D. and Lillie O. Hinkson.

Erma graduated from Truman State University with a degree in home economics. Her first teaching job was at Louisiana, MO. While there she met and married Bill Sr. during his training in the Army Air Corps, they were married for 67 years.

Erma is survived by her husband Bill Sr. and their six children: sons Bill Jr. and Berry and daughters Roberta (John) Mandl, Harriet (Don) McAnerney, Kathleen (Doug) Elder and Rebecca (Tom) Earley. All live in the immediate Kansas City area; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and many friends.

Funeral Services were May 21, 2010; Rev. Don Hoffman and Rev. Jeanne Webdell officiated. Casket Bearers were Michael Chiles, Bradley Clem, Thomas Earley, Jonathan Elder, Douglas Elder, Travis Elder, Donald McAnenrey and Andrew McDannold. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Clarksville, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron, MO.
