LONIE J. ALDRIDGE

Lonie Junior Aldridge, 67, of the state of Washington, died June 8, 2010, at St. Francisville, MO.

He was born the son of Junior and Lorraine Aldridge on July 20, 1942 in Schuyler County, MO.

Lonie attended the Bible Grove School and was an over the road truck driver for most of his life.

He married the former Margaret Shahan on October 17, 1959 at Baring, MO. To this union were born five children.

He was preceded in death by his father; two sons, Randy and Kevin Aldridge; and a brother, Roy Aldridge.

He is survived by Margaret Aldridge of Edina, MO; sons, Lonnie Lee and wife Linda Aldridge of Brandon, MS, Martin Aldridge of Fulton, MO, Shawn and wife Virginia Aldridge of Kirksville, MO, and Mark Aldridge of Ashland, MO; his mother, Wilma Lorraine Aldridge of Memphis; sister, Debbie and husband Troy Mitchell of St. Francisville, MO; a nephew, Shannon Givens of Ohio, a niece, Shelia of Massachusetts; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bible Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Bible Grove, MO, with Pastor Larry Smith of the Downing Christian Church officiating. Memorials have been suggested to the family and may be left at or mailed to Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, MO 63555.
