The Clark County Lady Indian softball team was blanked at Centralia on Thursday, September 23. Centralia scored four runs in each of the first three innings on the way to a 12-0 victory. Clark County managed only five hits-two by Brianna Alderton and one each by Jenna Huston, Megan Brennan and Kelsey Anderson.
On Monday, September 20, the Lady Indians hosted Canton, losing by a 2-0 margin. Clark County gave up runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Hannah Trump and Kailey Roberts had hits for Clark County.
The Lady Indians picked up 11 hits and 6 runs in a 16-6 loss to Brookfield on September 13. Kailey Roberts led the Indian batting with three hits and one RBI. Megan Brennan added three hits, and Jenna Huston and Mishaylee Cline had 2 hits each. Kelsey Anderson, Hannah Trump and Cassandra Ellison each had one hit.
Clark County downed Marion County 12-2 in the first round of the Paris Tournament on Saturday, September 18. Clark County. The Lady Indians had hits by Jenna Huston, Brianna Alderton, Hannah Trump, Kailey Roberts, Chelsea Edmondson and Mishaylee Cline.
Clark County downed Canton 2-1 in the second game of the tournament. Brianna Alderton and Megan Brennan scored for Clark County in the contest.
In the championship game, the Lady Indians faced host Paris, and came away with an 8-1 victory. Chelsea Edmondson led the team with four hits and 2 RBI’s.
Highland defeated Clark County 12-4 on September 9. Kailey Roberts had two hits and one RBI to lead the Lady Indians.
On September 7, the Lady Indians traveled to Palmrya, and were defeated 9-0
