CARL W. BROWN
Carl W. Brown, 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana died January 15, 2011. He was born June 24, 1919 in Edina, Missouri to John H. and Rose C. Brown. Carl served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII and was stationed in India and the Pacific Theatre.
Carl married Barbara J. Southard on June 10, 1951 and was employed for 30 years with Naval Avionics as an electronics mechanic, retiring in 1982.
His wife of 59 years, Barbara J. Brown; son, Gary W. Brown and his wife, Kim; five grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Dustin, Holly and Paige; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer Brown and his wife Essie, survive Carl.
A son, Michael R. Brown and a sister, Edna Miller, preceded him in death.
Funeral Service was Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, where he was a longtime member, with burial at Washington Park North Cemetery.
