MARY C. LEWIS

Mary C. Lewis, age 85 of Kirksville, Missouri, formerly of Hurdland, Missouri, died Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri.

She was born September 24, 1925, at Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of George and Cora Delores Davis Patterson.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Thomas Lewis on August 1, 1955, at New Hampton, Iowa and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are one daughter Mary Delores Dixon and husband Bill of Cody, Wyoming, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild and one cousin.

Mary was employed at Rath Packing Plant in Iowa several years. Following retirement in 1976 she and her husband moved to Hurdland, Missouri to make their home.

Graveside services were Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri. Officiating the services was Reverend Carol Davenport.
