Larry Dennis House, age 61, of Springfield, Illinois, formerly of LaBelle, Missouri, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri.

He was born May 7, 1950, at Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Wallace Vance and Wanda Mae Solter House.

Surviving are two sons, Jacob Carl House and Isaac Bowen House both of Springfield, Illinois, his long time companion Caren Ann Coffee of Springfield, Illinois, one brother Ronald V. House and wife Linda of LaBelle, Missouri, one sister Carla Nobis and husband Darrel of Minier, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry received his education at LaBelle, Missouri where he graduated from High School. He also attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville, Missouri and the University of Illinois at Springfield, Illinois. Larry served his country four years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Larry was employed as a computer analysis and programmer for several companies including Illinois Power for twenty years and State Farm for three years. He loved building computers, reading, cooking, genealogy and spending time with family and friends. Larry was a member of the Lions Club in Cerro Gordo, Illinois.

Funeral were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri. Reverend Mike Wilson officiated the services. Burial with full Military Honors was in the Deer Ridge Cemetery. Mike Wilson provided music. Casket bearers were Michael Lennen, Gary Groth, Mark Wichman, Christopher Edwards, Kenny Edwards and Mike Fey.
