PATSY R. ISOM

Patsy Romaine Isom, age 77, of Shelbina, MO, died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Salt River Community Care Nursing Home in Shelbina, MO.

She was born September 3, 1933, at Kirksville, MO the daughter of Lewis and Blanche Dillinger Corbin.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Betty Rasmussen and one brother-in-law Wendell Wood. Surviving are one sister Dorothy Wood of Bethel, MO, one brother Kenneth Corbin and wife Janice of Chesterfield, MO, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Patsy received her education in Sweet Oak rural school in Knox County, MO, graduated from LaBelle High School and was a graduate of Quincy Beauty Academy in Quincy, IL. Patsy lived in Booneville, MO, where she was employed as a Beautician from 1962 till 2005. Patsy enjoyed collecting Bells. She loved Music, Art and Theater and was active in the Booneville Community Theater.

Mrs. Isom will be cremated and memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011, in the LaBelle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Reverend Marty Lowe will officiate the services. There will be no visitation.
