Forrest J. Brookhart

Forrest Jackson Brookhart died December 22, 2012.

Jack was born in Wyaconda, MO July 20, 1928 to Ogle Sylvester and Lillian Bernice Brookhart.  Jack met Pauline in 1945 in Novelty, MO.  In January 1946 in Edina MO Jack and Pauline were married, they had four children, Janice, Ken, Vickie and Jay.

Jack was employed for 66 years from 1940-2006, He was a truck driver, farmer, heavy equipment operator, rancher, cattleman and many other jobs too many to list them all because he was the Jack-of-all trades.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Ogle Brookhart; mother, Lillian (Kelly) Moore; step mother, Ellen Brookhart; brother, Charles Edward “Sonny”; sister,  Ann Simpson; great granddaughter,  Kaylee Forrester; and several other family members.

He is survived by: wife, Pauline; daughter, Janice and husband Jerry Fry of Ten Mile Tennessee; son,  Ken and wife Margaret of Ft Collins; daughter, Vickie Brookhart of Ft Collins; son, Jay and wife LaVon of Ft Collins;

Brothers, Bill Brookhart of Texas, Dennis and wife Joyce Brookhart of Newark MO, Vern and Glenna Lockard of Seattle WA; siste,  Fay and Don Geek of Shellknob MO; half brother,  Ronald Fitzgerald of Orlando FL; nine grandchildren:  Paul Forrester, Shana Berry, Karen Sanders, Nikki Miller, AJ Brookhart, Samantha Buckendorf, Nicholas Kimes, Kurt Brookhart, Kayla Brookhart; twelve great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Annabel Stonemets, Mae Lindsey.

A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Allnutt Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO.
