James Robert Hardman

1958 – 2012

 

     James Robert Hardman, 54 of Keokuk, IA died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at his home.

He was born June 5, 1958 in Keokuk, IA the son of James Raymond and Jacquelyn Smith Hardman.

James attended Clark County High School in Kahoka, MO.

He enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 and proudly served his country from 1975-1977.

James was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and charcoal sketching.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Bronstine of St. Francisville, MO, one son, James Robert “Robbie” Campbell  of Midlothian, VA, one daughter, Sherry Diane Stone of Kahoka, MO, one grandson, Corey Cole Brown of Montrose, IA, three granddaughters, Courtney Diane Brown, Chelsie ReAnn Ortiz, and Calista Belle Ortiz all of Missouri, three brothers, Jeffery Lee Hardman of Cameron, MO, Michael Eugene Hardman of St. Francisville, MO and Garrett Ray Hardman of Mobile AL, two sisters, Sherry Mae Daggs of Keokuk, IA and Shirley Ann Ball of Keokuk, IA, nieces and nephews including Jacob Bridges, Tiffany Bridges, Crystal Ball, Lisa Ball, Michael Lee Hardman, Erin Hardman and Krista Hardman.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Raymond Hardman and his grandparents.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Burial will be at a later date.

There will be no visitation.
