Clark County April 2 Election Results

The Clark County Council On Aging won voter approval for a 5 cent per $100 assessed valuation tax to provide meals and activities for senior citizens in Clark County.  The measure passed by a 502-389 margin.

Voters re-elected Mark Plenge and Craig Hunziker to the CCR-1 School Board.  Vote totals were:

In Kahoka, Jerry Webber received 259 votes for Mayor.  Jeff Wood received 84 for East Ward, and Greg McVeigh received 98 vote for a 1-year East Ward term.  Greg Sutterfield received 161 votes in the West Ward.

In Wayland, Shirley Bunker received 71 votes, and Sabrina Ash got 33 vote to fill two seats on the town council.  Gloria Williams and Sam Walters III each got 18 votes, Chris Adams got 15 and Michelle Roberts received 17 votes.

In Luray, Carolyn Ferdig received 16 votes, and Ed Nye got 18 vote to fill two positions on the board of trustees.

In Wyaconda, no candidates were on the ballot for Mayor of East Ward alderman.  Wes Knupp received 12 votes for West Ward Alderman.
