Lavenia Mae (Brantner) Coffman
Lavenia Mae (Brantner) Coffman, 96, of Shenandoah, Iowa, died May 28, 2013 at Shenandoah Medical Center.
The daughter of Custer and Grace (Baker) Linhart was born October 20, 1916 in Browning, Missouri. She married Erman Brantner on September 4, 1933, who preceded her in death on March 15, 1984. To this marriage, one son and one daughter, Richard Brantner and Lucille Brantner were born. She later married Wayne Coffman who also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Browning Church of Christ and was a very dedicated Christian lady.
She is survived by one daughter, Lucille Brantner of Shenandoah, Iowa; grandchildren; Michael Brantner of Kirksville, Missouri, Roger Brantner of Edina, Missouri, Debra Brantner of Kirksville, Missouri and Jon Eric Brantner of Shenandoah, Iowa; step children and great grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Christy of Chillicothe, Missouri, several nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; a son, Richard Brantner; 2 sisters, Jesse Linhart and Rosalie McMulin; and 3 brothers, Marvin, Wesley, and Vernon (Buck) Linhart.
A graveside service was held, 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Enterprise Cemetery, east of Browning, Missouri. Rev. Russell Abbot officiated. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
