Kahoka Firefighters Respond To Fire in Vacant Structure

Kahoka firefighters didn’t have far to travel for a Wednesday evening fire.

The fire burned the inside of a vacant, recently condemned house at 273 W. Thompson, directly behind the fire station.

The cause of the blaze is unknown at this time, but there were no utilities connected at the property.

The State Fire Marshall will likely investigate the incident.
