Jerald Howard Medley   Jerald Howard Medley, age 62, of Rockford, IL formerly of Knox County, MO, died Saturday, October 12, 2013, at his home in Rockford.

He was born March 25, 1951, in Missouri the son of William Howard and Norma Josephine Dinwiddie Medley.

He was united in marriage to Regina Elliott at Alton, IL.

Surviving are his wife Regina Medley of Alton, IL, one daughter April Marshall and friend Ken Briggs, two grandsons Jacksen and Sam Marshall and Ken’s children Domonic, Brayton, Skyler, Ashlynn and Clayton Briggs, of Rockford, IL, two sisters, Karen Flesner and Stan of Ewing, MO, Carla Mauck and fiancée Greg Neisen of Knox City, MO, three brothers, Larry Davis and Sharon of LaBelle, MO, Bill Davis of Knox City, MO, and Steve Davis and Janie of Independence, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerald was preceded in death by his parents and Step father Virgil Davis.

Jerald worked most of his life in finance in Florida and Texas.  For the past 3 ½ years he resided in Rockford, IL where he was employed part-time at Wal-Mart in Belvidere, IL.

Jerald loved the outdoors.  He loved fishing, hunting, deep sea fishing, cards and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Reverend Doug Wilson will officiate the services.  Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Aaron Waite, David Waite, Danny Waite, Tom Thimmig, Darrell Rudd, Larry Walker, Don Judd and Shane Abel.

Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
