Philip Jay Parrish

   Philip Jay Parrish, 48, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, died May 3, 2014.

He was born September 21, 1965 in Quincy, IL to James L. Parrish and Linda Ellen (Sharp) Parrish.

He was a graduate of Knox County High School. He graduated with a BA in Health Administration and Business from FAU.

Philip participated in Gold Coast Runners Club, Hammerhead Aquatics, Four Season Triathlon, USA Triathlon and NAGVA Volleyball.

He is survived by his parents of Unionville, MO; sister, Andrea Botkins and husband Chris of Huntsville, MO; step-brother, Randy Ballanger and wife Angie of Green Castle, MO; step-sister, Karrie Ballanger of Bloomfield, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John B. Parrish of Unionville, MO; his grandmother Betty J. Parrish of Knox City, MO.
