Memorial Day Service In Edina

On Monday, May 26, 2014, a Memorial Day service will be held at the Knox County Community Center in Edina to honor those who have paid the ultimate price while fighting for our country. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m.

“It is a joint observance sponsored by all Knox County American Legion Posts and the Knox County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4822,” said Ed Anderson the Cyril A. Graham American Legion Post No. 261 Adjutant. “The special speaker is District 4 State Representative Craig Redmon.”

The service is being held at the community center for the third year in a row.

“Everyone is welcome,” said Anderson.
