Guilty Pleas Entered In Federal Drug Case
Six of the seven individuals accused of being part of a local drug ring have entered guilty pleas in federal court.
On May 28, 2014, Jonathan R. Prebe, 33; Jessica A. Rudd, 28; and Jerry E. Davis, 43, all of Edina, MO, were indicted on one felony count each of conspiracy to possess and one felony count each of possession of pseudoephedrine to manufacture meth.
Billy J. Reardon, 33, Quincy, IL, Sarah S. Baker, 51, Brashear, MO, Ashley N. Reardon, 26, Quincy, IL, and Angel Ryan, 32, Woodstock, IL, were each indicted on one felony count of possession of pseudoephedrine to manufacture meth.
The group was arrested approximately two weeks after being indicted by the grand jury and scheduled to go to trial on Monday, October 6, 2014. Before the trial came to pass all but one of the accused entered guilty plea agreements with the U.S. Eastern District Court of Missouri in St. Louis.
Billy J. Reardon entered a guilty plea agreement for the possession charge on September 11, 2014. He is scheduled to be sentenced on December 16, 2014. Since being arrested B. Reardon has been released on bond.
Angel M. Ryan entered a guilty plea agreement for the possession charge on September 24, 2014. She is scheduled to be sentenced on January 6, 2015. Since being arrested Ryan has been released on bond.
Jonathan R. Prebe entered a guilty plea agreement for the conspiracy and possession charges on September 29, 2014. He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 5, 2014. Since being arrested Prebe has been released on bond.
Ashley N. Reardon entered a guilty plea agreement for the possession charge on September 30, 2014. She is scheduled to be sentenced on January 7, 2015. Since being arrested A. Reardon has been released on bond.
Jerry E. Davis entered a guilty plea agreement for the possession and conspiracy charges on October 1, 2014. He is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court on January 7, 2015. Davis was in the custody of the Iowa Department of Corrections when he was indicted. He is currently serving a ten-year sentence for a drug related charge in Iowa.
Jessica A. Rudd entered a guilty plea agreement for the possession and conspiracy charges on October 3, 2014. She is scheduled to be sentenced on January 13, 2015. Since being arrested Rudd has been released on bond.
Sarah Baker, who entered a plea of not guilty, is scheduled to go to trial for the possession charge on November 3, 2014, before U.S. District Judge Audrey G. Flessig in St. Louis.
Judge Flessig will also preside over the sentencing hearings of B. Reardon, A. Reardon, Ryan, Prebe, Davis and Rudd.
