Edina Man Sentenced To Federal Prison After Investigation Into Area Meth Ring

According to court documents, On Tuesday, January 6, 2015, Jonathan Ryan Prebe, 33, of Edina was sentenced to serve 50 months in federal prison on federal drug charges in U.S. District Court in St. Louis. Prebe was also sentenced to serve two years of probation after he is released from prison and pay an assessment of $200.
According to a source, Prebe is expected to turn himself over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Office in St. Louis sometime within the next week (*correction) *month.
Prebe, along with six other individuals, was indicted by a federal Grand Jury and arrested in June of 2014 for drug activity occurring between 2009 and 2013 in Knox and Adair Counties. Prebe was charged with one felony count of “conspiracy to possess” and one felony count of “possession” of pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth.
Pseudoephedrine is one of the main ingredients used to make meth.
Over the course of the last six months all but one of the individuals accused of being involved in the meth ring have struck a deal with federal prosecutors and have plead guilty to drug related charges. Those who have entered guilty pleas in the case include Prebe, Jerry Davis, Jessica Rudd, Angel Ryan, Ashley Reardon and Billy Reardon.
The jury trial for Sarah Baker, 51, of Brashear, was scheduled to begin next week, but has been continued to May 4, 2015. Baker stands accused of possession of pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth.
Jerry E. Davis, 43, of Edina plead guilty to possession and conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth. Davis will be sentenced on January 16, 2015.
Jessica A. Rudd, 28, of Edina plead guilty to possession and conspiracy to possess pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth. Rudd will be sentenced on January 13, 2015.
Angel M. Ryan, 32, of Woodstock, IL, plead guilty to possession of pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth. Ryan will be sentenced on February 13, 2015.
Ashley N. Reardon, 26, of Quincy plead guilty to possession of pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth. Ashley Reardon will be sentenced on March 12, 2015.
Billy J. Reardon, 33, of Quincy plead guilty to one count of possession of pseudoephedrine for manufacturing meth. He was sentenced to serve 30 months in federal prison, two years of probation upon release and ordered to pay a $100 assessment in U.S. District Court in St. Louis on December 12, 2014.
