Lloyd D. Pass

Lloyd D. Pass, 71, of Kahoka, died Monday, January 12 at his home in Kahoka.
He was born August 21, 1943 in Rockwood, Tennessee the son of Clifford and Reba Givens Pass. On August 4, 1964 he was united in marriage to Joanie Hawks in Long Beach, CA. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons; John Pass of Kahoka, and Randy Pass and his wife Jeannette of Ft. Riley, KS, two daughters; Rebecca Caudill and her husband Cameron of Auburn, AL, and Jennifer Redding and her husband Kevin of Kahoka, 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one sister; Mary Jo Thurman of Spring City, TN, two brothers; Jimmy Pass of Westal, TN and Donald Pass of Rockwood, TN along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Lee Pass.
Lloyd proudly served his country during the Vietnam War from 1961 – 1965 in the United States Navy.
Before he retired in 1985 he was a foreman for an oil field construction company working at numerous job sites for different oil companies.
In the past four years he was interested in Christian studies and studied it on a regular basis.
After his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, and playing games with his family. He was an all around handyman jack of all trades and enjoyed tinkering with things to see how they worked.
A private family gathering was held Thursday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka.
