Robert “Bob” Morse

Robert “Bob” Morse, 81, of Kahoka, MO died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Clark County Nursing Home.
He was born on September 11, 1933 in Fulton County, Illinois the son of Clayton Edward and Dorothy Lillian Jones Morse. On November 13, 1954 he was united in marriage to Betty Bernice Hilton in Macomb, Illinois. She preceded him in death on August 27, 2002.
A farmer for his entire lifetime, Bob needed nothing more to make life worthwhile than to farm his fields and love his family. He was also a member of Kahoka Baptist Church. In his retirement years, he loved relaxing and watching television.
He is survived by two sons, Bill Morse and his wife Cindy of Kahoka, MO, Brian Morse of Colchester, IL, two daughters, Barbara Morse of Mt. Sterling, IL, and Brenda Bain and her husband David of Mt. Pleasant, IA, a sister, Carol Perrine of Roseville, IL, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife he was also preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Dwayne Morse and son in law, Danny Rankin.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held Sunday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with the family meeting with friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Kahoka Cemetery with Pastor Glen Yoder officiating.
