William Glen Sharpe, age 83, of Macon, Missouri, formerly of Clarence, Edina and Baring, MO, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, in Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.
Born June 29, 1931, at Hunnewell, MO, Glen was the son of William F. and Ethel R. Ragar Sharpe.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Sharpe was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Francis Eugene and Lewis Hunter Sharpe.
Glen served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1965. He was a self-employed truck driver for many years. He was raised in Hunnewell, Missouri, and had also lived in LaBelle, Baring, Edina and Clarence, Missouri. He was a member of the LaBelle Christian Church.
Mr. Sharpe will be cremated. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO. Pastor Charles Sharpe will officiate the services. Music will be provided by Nina McKenzie, Jake McKenzie and Tamara Toliver. Musical selections will be “In The Garden” and “Beyond The Sunset”.
Burial will be at a later date in the LaBelle Cemetery.
