State Audit of 2nd Circuit Court Finally Released to Public
After a extensive period of waiting on the Missouri State Auditor’s audit of financial business conducted by the Missouri Second Judicial Circuit Court, which includes Adair, Knox and Lewis counties, the audit has finally been released to the public.
The circuit has given the circuit a rating of “Fair” and listed a number of discrepancies found during the audit process. The Presiding Judge, Adair and Lewis County Associate Judges and Adair County Circuit Clerk responses to the findings of the audit have also been included in the 39-page document.
