Four Northeast Missouri Men Killed In Randolph County Crash

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, four Northeast Missouri men died in a head-on vehicle collision on Highway 63 at County Road 2780 in Randolph County.
A 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, being driven by Richard W. Painter, 64, of Queen City, MO, and occupied by Robert L. Painter, 62, of Edina, MO, was northbound on U.S. Highway 63 when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and into the southbound lane. It collided with an oncoming vehicle, a 1999 Lincoln Navigator being driven by Joseph D. Black, 56, of Salisbury, MO, and occupied by James E. Polson, 51, of Moberly, MO, at approximately 12:20 p.m.
All four men died as a result of the crash.
MSHP, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Ambulance District and Coroner, the Air Evac Team and Staff for Life responded to the call.
There have been a total of 22 fatalities in the MSHP Troop B area so far this year.
