Kansas City Man Dies After Motocross Accident

A Kansas City man was pronounced dead at Scotland County Hospital at 12:15pm on Sunday, August 16, following a motorcycle accident on private property five miles southwest of Kahoka.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Timothy J. Stalcup, 53, of Kansas City was riding a 1984 Yamaha dirt bike on the motor cross field when he lost control of the bike and travelled off the course.

He was transported to Scotland County Hospital by Clark County Ambulance, assisted by Air Evac.
