NORMA B. EARLYWINE

Mrs. Norma B. Earlywine, 81 of Lewistown, Missouri died Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
The daughter of William and Carrie (Lehenbauer) Hunt was born on May 6, 1934 at Hannibal, Missouri.
She was united in marriage 61 years ago to Merlin Earlywine. They were married on September 19, 1954 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hannibal, Missouri.
Norma was a 60 year member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in LaGrange, Missouri. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Lewis County Memorial Post #578 and the Marriage Encounter Circle for 23 years. She liked to attend Bluegrass festivals, garden, cook and bake. She babysat many children throughout the years. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Merlin Earlywine of Lewistown, Missouri.; five children, Delbert (Olivia) Earlywine of Monroe City, Missouri, Kathy Wood of Wright City, Missouri, Linda (John) Whitaker of Ewing, Missouri., Karen (Paul) Olson of LaGrange, Illinois, and Janet (David) McCoy of Leonard, Missouri.; thirteen grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilbert (Roberta) Hunt of Columbia, Missouri, and Walter (LouElla) Hunt of Hannibal, Missouri; one sister, Hilda (Paul) Lahr of LaGrange, Mo.; and several nieces & nephews.
